Anyway I do think it is going to be different this time because generating content is becoming so easy today that the entire web would just become 99.99% slop very quickly if things don't change. That being said the solution isn't that trivial, curious if you have thoughts on it?
I used GPT 5.6 Sol Extra High (Fast) for the last month, around 4-5h per day, and it managed to acomplished most of the tasks it had. It didn't really impress and often the end result needed one or two tweaks/fixes, but it did work and could create e2e solutions.
Tokens are also occupied by the internal reuslts of 'thinking', for instance, using the latest opencode, give qwen 3.8-flash-next with 'high' thinking mode 50KB total of python to read in six different files, count the expected tokens you'd expect it to occupy in just the size of the python. Then count the actual token count taken up after it's finished thinking about the contents of the python and analyzing it before you give it a single directive.

Sounds like a good reason to make it automatic then, because if users have to find your state toggle in some hamburger menu, they're not going to use it if they don't even know the system has a theme applied.
Reasoning is a strong statement here. But it is fair to say that it usually is not intuitive to us.
An example is if I gave you a huge sheet of thin paper (huge so that folding isn’t an issue) - how many times could you fold it in half until you couldn’t physically do it anymore? Could you do at least 10? Try this with random people and you’d be surprised how many say they could do 10 easily.
Or the chess board question. Works to rather get the financial equivalent of starting with a penny and then doubling it for every square on the board or a million dollars for each square? Again, if you ask people to pick one without giving them the time to work it out they will usually pick the million dollar per square.
TLDR: the input data for the model now also includes real-time observations (satellite and weather stations) on top of the typical (re)analysis data, improving model resolution, run frequency and timestep frequency.

I'd really like them to take one or two of those 400G ports and split them into internal port splitters to generate a 32x10/25g switch with 400g uplinks for $2k. They do a 8x50G one (crs812_ddq)
Ultimately this is a Marvell 98dx7335 with a mikrotik management interface on the top. Most switches you tend to encounter use Broadcom chipsets rather than Marvell.
Setting aside what features routeros exposes, This chip seems to be somewhere between a Trident 3 and Trident 4 in capability (hardware support for things like evpn/vxlan, q-in-q, mpls, macsec etc)
Last mikrotik switch I tried only supported PTP Transparent clock, this chip does do boundary clock, but I don't think it's implemented through the linux layer let alone exposed via the RouterOS layer.
I think the chip is mainly aimed at service providers, which fits in well with mikrotik's main customer base (ISPs)
I think there's a number of people reading this who clearly didn't detect the satirical nature of this single sentence. It's blunt and obvious, but even so...
We (Synqly) have a production MCP server which several of our customers use in their production services. The functionality ranges from mundane management capabilities such as walking through how to add an integration in natural language (e.g. support bot) to more than exciting use cases such as making complex queries across a number of tools to create aggregate reports.
To that point, the battery capacity they’ve got, rough envelope math, is maybe 10 minutes beyond reserve. They’d likely need at least double, probably triple battery capacity to fly useful routes all-electric with enough reserve stored in batteries. The turbines are a great move.

What a sad thing to say. These models are not even better than me at _writing code_, which is as well-suited a task for LLM agents as can possibly be, what with the structured environment and the exabytes of free annotated training data.
Of course, they are also not better than humans at writing, let alone at talking to my daughter, running a pathfinder campaign, decorating a room, being a therapist, etc.

That's true, but my general gripe is the static nature of the whole system. Even if humans' neuroplasticity reduces with age, it never goes to zero. I started to learn English at a very early age, yet my ability to communicate with it soared around 20, because I started to use it more and more.
Same with instruments. I started to play instruments at an early age, but started to play guitar around that age. Well, I'm not a virtuoso, but can play and more importantly can improve.
These AI systems we built are static things. We generally try to make them more intelligent by augmenting the context they can see, but the model doesn't evolve in every turn, for example.
Intelligence is a multi-faceted and multi-input construct, that's true, and GPT-6 may do amazing things w.r.t. other models, I didn't try it yet. OTOH, my main call is to remember that these are still static algorithms fed with enormous amount of data. They are more rooted on statistics rather than fixed inputs. In short, they are still fitting to the frame of "advanced search".
In general, I'm not against the tech, but the hype. I have other gripes about how AI is being built, but that's not subject of this comment.
